Kristian Martiny er forskningsleder på Elsass Instituttets Afdeling for Psykologisk og Social Forskning og post. doc ved Center for Subjektivitetsforskning på Institut for Medier, Erkendelse og Formidling, Københavns Universitet.

Martinys fokuserer i sin forskning på spændingsfeltet mellem kognitions videnskab (filosofi, psykologi og neurovidenskab) og teknologi, praksis og kunst.
